On the edge

Hello lovely people,

Our theme at Totally Gorjuss this week is ‘Happy’ and we have TWO lovely sponsors; The Ribbon Girl and Saturated Canary.  It certainly made me very happy to get a free SC digi stamp to work with this week so thanks Krista 😀  I chose Cali Girl and some fresh yellow and blue DP to bring a little taste of the summer we will hopefully have this year!

So, why the post title?  Well, I am on the edge of ProMarker cliff readying myself to jump off into the big wide Copic sea!  I have been thinking about it for a while and my colouring of this image convinced me that I needed to try it so some Copics have been ordered; watch this space!  Until then, here is the image coloured with ProMarkers/FlexMarkers;

Cheeky birthday greetings

Hello lovely people,

The weekend rolls around again and the theme at Totally Gorjuss this week is ‘For Your Men’….yes, always a tough one I know!   Our sponsor this week is Heather’s Hobbie Haven so the lucky winner will have plenty of loveliness to choose from 🙂

I think most men would appreciate Cheeky Geeky from TGF and she is the star of the show here, coloured in with ProMarkers/FlexMarkers.  I made the little ticket by printing the blank ticket image onto Kraft card, cutting it out and stamping the sentiment on it.

Holding hands

Hello lovely people,

Ok, I’m bored with this cold weather now and worrying if it is going to snow AGAIN 😦  Plus, it is really hard to take good card photos when it is so grey all the time so please forgive any slight fuzziness of the photos below!

The last card I blogged was intended for Dr Hubby’s Valentine’s Day card but I changed my mind, as is my womanly right 😉  I really wanted to ink up my new LOTV stamp and it made for a slightly more masculine card than the previous one.

Holding hands Kraft

I wanted to try something a little different so stamped the image onto Kraft card using brown ink then coloured it in with ProMarkers/Flexmarkers in shades of brown apart from the little bit of red for the flowers and balloon.  Here are the cute couple in close up;

I folded the seam binding and stuck it down with little bits of double sided tape as I went and raised the image up slightly to give a little bit of dimension as you can see here;

Grow a little love

Hello lovely people,

Yes, it is the weekend again and I can’t believe it is nearly Valentine’s Day!  The challenge at Totally Gorjuss this week fits in with this perfectly as it is ‘Love’ and we are sponsored by Crafters Companion who will give one lucky person £10 to spend online 🙂

I have used another Tiddly Inks image; this time it is Wryn – Grow a Little Love and I think she is just adorable.  I have layered up the panels without my usual Kraft card border except round the image and coloured Wryn with ProMarkers/Flexmarkers.  I have kept the layout simple so it would be suitable for my lovely hubby 🙂  I hope he doesn’t mind a couple of pearls though!

Lacy

Hello lovely people,

The theme this week at Totally Gorjuss challenge is ‘Anything goes…with lace’ which is right up my street 🙂  I have used an old but fabulous stamp from LOTV and coloured it with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers.  I added tiny spots of Frosted Lace Stickles to the bouquet wrapper but it is less sparkly than some Stickles so you can’t really see it unfortunately.
