I am here with a very quick post to share my card for Totally Gorjuss and this week we want to see some ‘Embossing.’ Now, I don’t use either heat or dry embossing all that much but I do have a couple of embossing folders that don’t see the light of day very much. So, I shook the dust off one of them and went for a really simple little design;
Well, I don’t know if Spring is finally here to stay but we are all about the ‘Spring Shades’ over at Totally Gorjuss this week. The new Spring Basics collection from Maja Designs (available from Live and Love Crafts) is perfect for this theme and I had to buy pretty much every design in the collection as they were all just so beautiful!
I used several layers of pretty papers (I had so many to choose from!) all matted onto Kraft, then stitched and inked around the edges. Here you can see the layers and the little ribbon loop under the button;
I also decided to add to my collection of Saturated Canary images as I have loved these awesome digistamps by Krista for a long time but only have a couple. I thought Ava with her balloon was a great match for the spring papers and I have coloured her with my Copics – I think I am slowly getting the hang of them but still have lots to learn.
The weekend rolls around again and the theme at Totally Gorjuss this week is ‘For Your Men’….yes, always a tough one I know! Our sponsor this week is Heather’s Hobbie Haven so the lucky winner will have plenty of loveliness to choose from 🙂
I think most men would appreciate Cheeky Geeky from TGF and she is the star of the show here, coloured in with ProMarkers/FlexMarkers. I made the little ticket by printing the blank ticket image onto Kraft card, cutting it out and stamping the sentiment on it.

I would like to enter this card in the ABC challenge ‘H is for Happy Birthday.’
Thanks so much for stopping by and head on over to the Totally Gorjuss blog for lots of inspiration from the rest of the DT,
Unbelievably this is my second card of the day so if you are looking for my Totally Gorjuss GDT card then scroll on down…
When I saw the theme for the Tiddly Inks challenge this week it was the perfect excuse to get another one of their gorgeous digistamps and I have picked Wryn – Fairy Friends; isn’t she just the cutest? I have coloured her with ProMarkers and FlexMarkers and just added a tiny bit of TH Frayed Burlap ink round the edges of the DP panels.
Wow, I don’t often manage 2 blog posts in a day, but here I am again! This time I am sharing my card for the Totally Gorjuss Challenge, which is to make anything but a square card. I have gone for a little wintery scene on a circle card. I love how the little button/pearl tree came out 🙂
I have followed the sketch pretty closely, using ProMarkers to colour in the image and I have inked most of the papers with black ink, but used white acrylic paint brushed round the edge of the main panel.
DP: Bo Bunny – Enchanted pad (available from Dies to Die For) and a little scrap of random orange spotty paper
Scalloped edge: Magnolia Doohickey die – Tilda lace (available from Dies to Die For)

Hope you all had a spooktacular halloween and thanks for stopping by,
I have seen various versions of the post-it note holder on Pinterest and thought I would have a go at making one as part of a ‘welcome back care package’ for a work colleague returning from maternity leave. I used a flat piece of card from a cereal box, covered it with DP or Kraft card and inked all the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Walnut.
A slightly different view;
The inside, and you can just about see where I have folded up the bottom section of card and glued the edges to make a pocket that the back page of the post-it note pad slides into;
