Time for coffee

Good evening,

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend and enjoyed some sunshine at last 😀

I made this card for for my sister-in-law’s birthday using one of my favourite LOTV stamps…well, who am I kidding – they are ALL my favourites 🙂

I have gone for a vintage feel by distressing the edges of the DPs with sandpaper and stitching around them by hand.   The little clip holding the greeting was handmade by twisting a piece of wire round a pencil a few times.

Here is a close up of the image, which I have coloured with ProMarkers;

Card recipe;

DPs: Road Show by Fancy Pants

Swirls: Marianne Design Die

Flowers: Country Elegance by Prima

Sentiment: Big Sentiments by Personal Impressions

Pearls and seam binding: Wild Orchid Crafts

I also decorated her present with the same papers and had a play with my new Memory Box posie die…I think I need a little more practice to make them better but not bad for a first attempt!

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Passion for ProMarkers (birthdays)

2) Die-ing for a Challenge (anything goes with a die cut)

3) Cute Card Thursday (pink and green)

4) Bunny Zoe Craft (anything goes)

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your kind comments,

CAS New Home

Hi all,

Just another quick little post from me this evening to share this New Home card I made for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge, which this week has the theme of Clean and Simple.

I stamped the whole image onto white card then onto Kraft card and cut out just the house, then again onto spotty paper and cut out the trees.  I added a little glossy accents to the windows but it is a bit hard to see in the photo.  I printed the text onto linen card then cut it to size and attached the image panel.

Thanks for looking and for your kind comments,

A teenager at last

Hi everyone,

I really was going to make a card that wasn’t pink for a change but then I was asked by a work colleague to make a pink/purple card for her niece so that idea went out of the window!  I have made an easel card using one of my favourite stamps, Sarah Shopper by Kraftin Kimmie, which I have coloured with ProMarkers.  The text was requested by my colleague and was created on my laptop then printed on to DP.

Card recipe;

DPs: MME Lost and Found Madison Avenue (yes, again!)

Label shapes: cut with Cricut

Flowers: Prima Country Elegance

Swirl: Marianne Design die

Pearls: Kaisercraft

Inked edges: Tim Holtz walnut distress stain

Here is a close up of Sarah Shopper;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Truly Scrumptious (anything goes)

2) Passion for ProMarkers (photo inspiration)

Say it with flowers

Hello,

Finally we have had some good weather so I have been in the garden all weekend and crafting has taken a back seat.  However, I thought I would share this card that I made a week or so ago for a friend to give to her sister.

I have used MME Lost & Found: Madison Avenue papers…yes, again!  It is amazing how many cards you can make from just one 6×6″ pad; I have really made good use of it and still not finished it yet 🙂  The panels are all inked with TH Walnut Stain distress ink round the edges and stitched by hand.

Here is a close up of the sweet image from LOTV which I have coloured with ProMarkers as usual;

Other card ‘ingredients’;

Flowers: Memory Box die

Swirl: Marianne Design die

Label shapes: cut with Cricut

Pearls: Wild Orchid Crafts

Lace: from stash

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Wild Orchid (anything goes)

2) Passion for ProMarkers (special birthdays)

3) Lili’s Little Fairies (favourite tool; that will be my Cricut)

Thanks so much for looking and for your kind comments,

Cake glorious cake

Hi all,

This is a card that a friend at work asked me to make and since I had just bought this gorgeous rubber stamp from Lili of the Valley it seemed like the perfect choice.

Recipe:

Papers: Pink Paislee (came free with a craft magazine – don’t often use them but these were really pretty) plus some Bazzill Basics

Fancy edge: Martha Stewart swirling lace edge punch

Bunting and number: cut with Cricut machine

Lettering: Quick Cutz die

Pearls/baker’s twine: Wild Orchid Crafts

I have coloured the image with ProMarkers and added a little sparkle on the wings with Crystal Stickles.  Here comes the close-up;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) I love ProMarkers (fairies)

2) Simon Says Stamp (birthday)

Thanks for taking the time to stop by,

Kat

Notepaper holder

Hello!

I would like to share this notepaper holder that I made for my aunt-in-law’s birthday.  It has a little concertina pocket to hold the paper; sorry I didn’t take more of a side view so you could see it better 😦

Recipe;

Papers: MME Breeze

Lettering: Cricut

Swirls: Marianne Design die

Flowers: Prima Country Petals

Pearls/seam binding: Wild Orchid Crafts

Lace: from stash

I would like to enter this card in the Papertake Weekly Challenge of anything goes + optional lace.

Thanks for stopping by,
