Last minute dash!

Good morning!

I meant to do this last night and forgot so here I am typing away whilst eating my cereal!  I used the great sketch from Simon Says Stamp Challenge to make a card for a friend to give her Dad for his 70th birthday.

The DPs are First Edition (can’t remember which ones) and the lovely image is from Lili of the Valley, coloured with ProMarkers.

Here is a close up;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Simon Says Stamp (sketch)

2) ABC Challenge (neutral colours)

Have a lovely day!

Let’s go shopping!

Good evening!

I had most of the day for crafting today and although I have a few commissioned cards to make, I felt like doing something that was just what I wanted to make today 🙂

So, I used this sketch from the Truly Scrumptious challenge;

pfp1

I have rotated it 90 degrees to the right and used a Kraftin’ Kimmie stamp called Sarah Shopper, coloured with ProMarkers.

The papers are MME Stella & Rose (Mabel), the edge punch is Martha Stewart doily lace, and I have added some hand stitching and an old orange ribbon from my stash.

Here is a close up;

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges;

2) I love ProMarkers (Let’s go shopping)

Rock a bye baby

Hello!

Passion for ProMarkers have challenged us to make a white on white card which usually fills me with dread but  then this new stamp from Lili of the Valley dropped through my letter box and I was filled with inspiration!

Since it was allowed under the rules of the challenge I have lightly chalked the edges of the pieces I used to build up the rocker card and also pricked some holes to add a little texture.  I used ProMarkers to colour the image apart from the blanket which I paper pieced from a scrap of MME paper. Here is a close up of the little cutie;

I finished the card off with a die cut swirl, a handmade crochet flower and some pearls.

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges;

1) Passion for ProMarkers (white on white)

2)Penny Black and more at Allsorts (Oh so cute…)

3) CES Challenges (paper piecing)

4) Stamptacular (anything goes!)

Thanks for checking out my work,

Something a bit different

Hi,

I have recently been putting my craft supplies to a slightly different use by making graphics for a game that my husband has developed for Android phones and tablets.  It has just been released and I am soooo proud of him for the way it has turned out and very excited to have been a part of it.

Head Spin is a fun platform game where you roll your head along by tilting the screen and jump by touching the screen and you can get a feel for it in this 1 minute video;

If you want to know more then please visit the Stone Baked Games blog or just go and download the game for free from Google Play!

Thanks for your interest!

A pirates life for me

Ahoy me hearties!

This is the card I made for my nephew’s birthday to fit in with the ‘transport’ theme at Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge this week.  The stamp is from LOTV (of course!) and is coloured in with ProMarkers.  I have kept the layout really simple with some stitching around the die cut circles and lettering cut on my Cricut.

Thanks for looking,

Birthday princess

Hi,

Just a quick post from me to share the card I made for my niece’s 4th birthday using Princess Anya (No. 2) from The Greeting Farm.

The castle is cut from Bazzill card and Anya has been coloured with ProMarkers, cut out and stuck on with foam pads to add a bit of dimension.  Here is a side view so you can see the bunting which I cut using my Cricut and the little pearls I added to the die cut border;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) By the Cute and Girly (Once upon a time)

2) ABC Challenge (Magical)

3) Simon Says Stamp (use your favourite tool – my Cricut!)

Time for a cup of coffee now I think 🙂

Sew special

Hello all!

I always have fun creating cards for my mother-in-law as she also makes cards.  I thought the slightly distressed vintage feel to this card was perfect for her birthday especially as she is also good with a needle and thread…and knitting/crochet needles…and many other crafty things!

The papers are all from the MME Sunshine paper pad and I cut the dressmaker’s dummy out by hand from the script paper and some Kraft card.  The lace is from Wild Orchid Crafts and I used a small length of it to make the rosette topped with a button from my grandmother’s old stash.  Here is a close up of the embellishments;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Papertake Weekly (anything goes)

2) Truly Scrumptious (lace)

Thanks so much for looking,

Celebratory bunnies

Hey,

Some friends of ours got engaged and I had to whip up a card in double quick time so it is a really simple one.  I have used a lovely stamp from Lili of the Valley and coloured it with ProMarkers.

The papers are from the MME Breeze paper pad and I have wrapped the centre panel with some seam binding from Wild Orchid Crafts and added a few pearls to the corners.

Here is a close up of the little bunnies;

I would like to enter the card in the Lili’s Little Fairies Challenge this week (anything goes).

Thanks for stopping by,

Kat
