Cheeky birthday greetings

Hello lovely people,

The weekend rolls around again and the theme at Totally Gorjuss this week is ‘For Your Men’….yes, always a tough one I know! ¬† Our sponsor this week is Heather’s Hobbie Haven so the lucky winner will have plenty of loveliness to choose from ūüôā

I think most men would appreciate Cheeky Geeky from TGF and she is the star of the show here, coloured in with ProMarkers/FlexMarkers.  I made the little ticket by printing the blank ticket image onto Kraft card, cutting it out and stamping the sentiment on it.

Cheeky Geeky red and black cu2

Card recipe;

Ticket: Sanqunetti tickets galore digi stamp set from mygrafico

I would like to enter this card in the ABC challenge ‘H is for Happy Birthday.’

Thanks so much for stopping by and head on over to the Totally Gorjuss blog for lots of inspiration from the rest of the DT,

Better late than never!

Hello,

This is my VERY late entry for the Die-ing for a Challenge theme of ‘Halloween or Monster’ as I forgot to post it earlier – oops!

I have used the super cute witch from the Spooktacular digi stamp set from TGF and the layout inspiration came from this sketch from TGF Double Take Tuesdays Challenge;

I have followed the sketch pretty closely, using ProMarkers to colour in the image and I have inked most of the papers with black ink, but used white acrylic paint brushed round the edge of the main panel.

Card recipe;

DP: Bo Bunny РEnchanted pad (available from Dies to Die For) and a little scrap of random orange spotty paper

Scalloped edge: Magnolia Doohickey die РTilda lace (available from Dies to Die For)

Sentiment: Personal Impressions ‘All year round’ stamp set

Button and thread: from stash

Hope you all had a spooktacular halloween and thanks for stopping by,

Kat xx

A touch of Glimmer

Hello,

I bought the gorgeous¬†TGF¬†Glimmer Bean¬†a few weeks ago and can’t quite believe it has taken me so long to ink her up!

I have used this great sketch by Aeryn from the TGF challenge blog;

So here is my take on the sketch;

Here is an angled shot so you can see all the lovely layers of pretty pink papers ūüôā

And finally here is a close-up of Glimmer Bean, who I have coloured with ProMarkers; isn’t she just the cutest?

Card recipe;

DP: MME Fine and Dandy

Scalloped circle: cut with Cricut Lacy Labels cartridge

Sentiment:¬†Personal Impressions ‘Big Sentiments’

Flowers: from Wild Orchid Crafts

Cotton lace: from the Ribbon Girl

Pearls: Kaisercraft

Last wedding of the year

Hi all,

This weekend I went to the last wedding of 5 this year and created a card for the happy couple using this lovely sketch from Die-ing for a Challenge;

I have probably over-used this digi stamp from The Greeting Farm this year but it is such a cute image and I love that I can colour the hair¬†to match the bride and groom’s hair.¬† By happy coincidence I managed to actually get the colours to match quite well with the wedding theme ūüėÄ ¬†As you will see in the photo I also made a little matching wallet to hold the gift card.

Card recipe;

DP: Bo Bunny Welcome Home

Scalloped edge: Tilda lace die from Magnolia

Swirl: Marianne Design die

White flowers/pearl brad/white pearls: Wild Orchid Crafts

Crochet flower/ribbon: from stash

Sentiment: Penny Black stamp (came with graduating hedgehog stamp)

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Die-ing for a Challenge (sketch)

2) Simon Says Stamp (bingo – ribbon, free, blooms)

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Hugs,

Kat

Where has my mojo gone?

Hello!

Wow, it has been ages since I was on here due to a serious loss of mojo ūüė¶ ¬†I have just not been happy with anything much I have made recently and have been taking a bit of a break. ¬†However, I was asked to make a wedding card for a colleague and was able to turn to one of my favourite and most used digi stamps from The Greeting Farm, which I have coloured with ProMarkers.

Sorry that the photo seems a little fuzzy; the light hasn’t exactly been great recently, but here is a close up;

Card recipe;

DP: Bo Bunny Enchanted

Scalloped edge: Martha Stewart edge punch

Heart: cut with Cricut

Black gems/ribbon: from stash

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges;

1) TGF Farm Fresh (can you digi it?)

2) Simon Says Stamp (photo inspiration)

3) Papertake Weekly (anything goes)

Thanks for stopping by,

So, here is my take on the sketch, which I have rotated 90 degrees to the left;

Card recipe;
