Just married!

Hello!

I have yet another wedding card to share which was a bit of a last minute make; I knew the wedding was coming up but was being typically disorganised!  I have used a digi stamp from the DigiStamp Boutique and coloured it with ProMarkers.

Card recipe;

DP: MME (Lost & Found: Madison Avenue)

Label shapes; cut with Cricut (Lyrical Letters cartridge)

Scalloped edge: circle punch

Flowers (Foundation basics)/seam binding/pearls: Wild Orchid Crafts

Memo pin: handmade from wire

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Wild Orchid (punch/dies)

2) Stampalot (Bingo – pink/brown/bling)

3) ABC (R is for Romance)

Thanks for looking and for your kind comments,

Housewarming cookies

Hey peeps,

We visited some friends this weekend who have recently moved and I baked some cookies to take as a housewarming gift – sorry there are no photos of the cookies but they were very tasty!  I made a tag using a little house stamp coloured with ProMarkers but I am not at home as I write this and can’t for the life of me remember where the stamp is from; maybe Hero Arts?!

Tag recipe;

DP: MME Stella and Rose (Mabel)

Button/ribbon: from stash

I would like to enter the tag in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge, which has the theme of ‘anything but a card’ this week.

Hey everyone!

Well, the rubbish weather continues but I have still managed to have a lovely day with family today.  Now my gorgeous little nephews and their parents have gone home and it is suddenly a lot quieter here I thought I would share a wedding card with you.  It was a great design for using up a few scraps of DP along with some Bazzill card.  I absolutely love this digi stamp from The Greeting Farm which I have coloured with ProMarkers.

Card recipe;

Swirls: Marianne Design Die

Lettering and label shapes: cut with Cricut (Lyrical Letters cartridge)

Flower: Prima Country Elegance

Lace/pearl: Wild Orchid Crafts

Ribbon: from stash

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) TGF Farm Fresh Friday (ribbon)

2) Wild Orchid Crafts (anything goes)

Ruby wedding anniversary

Good evening all!

I have had a busy weekend celebrating my husband’s birthday so haven’t had much time for card making 😦  but did have lots of time for eating cake 😀

So, I thought I would share this card that I made a little while ago for my parents-in-law’s ruby wedding anniversary.  This was my first attempt at a tri-shutter card and it turned out to be a lot easier to do than I thought.  I have kept the embellishment to a minimum to show off the lovely stamped image which is from Lili of the Valley and is coloured with ProMarkers.

Card recipe:

DP: free with a magazine I think

Hearts: cut with Cricut (+ white gel pen ‘stitches’)

Flowers: Memory Box die

Pearls: Wild Orchid Crafts (all white to start with but have coloured some with a red ProMarker)

Here is a close up of the main image;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Lili’s Little Fairies (In the garden)

2) Stamptacular (Fancy folds)

Cute as a button

Hello,

I love this Lili of the Valley stamp that I bought recently so couldn’t resist inking it up again and colouring it with ProMarkers to make a card for a baby girl.  I have kept the layout really simple with a little bit of sandpaper distressing round the edge of the DP and some ruffled seam binding which is my favourite thing at the moment!

Card recipe:

DP: MME Lost & Found Two – Blush

Edging: Tilda lace die from Magnolia

Seam binding: Wild Orchid Crafts

Sentiment: Big Sentiments by Personal Impressions

Button: from stash

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Sweet Stampin’ (stitching)

2) Bunny Zoe’s Crafts (girls girls girls)

3) By the Cute and Girly (cute as a button)

Baby’s first birthday

Hi all,

Just a quick post from me while I am enjoying a day off work.  The weather is so rubbish I can’t get any gardening done but hey, that just means I will have to make cards instead 😉

I made this little rocker card for my nephew’s first birthday and it came together really quickly with a scrap of DP and some Bazill Basics.

Card recipe;

DP: MME Abbey Road

Tortoise/No.1: cut using Cricut (Create a Critter cartridge)

Letters: QuicKutz dies

I would like to enter the card in the Papertake Weekly challenge of anything goes with optional extra theme of  ‘for a man/boy.’

Thanks for looking,

Round wedding card

Hello,

I have yet another wedding card to share today and there will be plenty more to come over the next few months!  I have 6 weddings to make cards for and plenty of commissions as well, so am pretty busy 🙂

This is the first round easel card I have made and I cut all the circles out with my Cricut then distressed the edges with sandpaper and added the stitching by hand.  I have used a little row of pearls to prop the top section against.

Here is a close up of the image, which is a digi stamp from the DigiStamp Boutique, coloured with ProMarkers.

Card recipe;

DPs: MME Lost & Found 2 (Blush/Breeze)

Seam binding/pearls/white flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts

Lace/green flower: from stash

Lettering: QuicKutz alphabet dies

I would like to enter this card in the following challenges;

1) Passion for ProMarkers (photo inspiration)

2) Simon Says Stamp (anything goes)
