I’m moving!

Hello lovely people,

Butterfly trio

Hello lovely people,

After all the wonderful and generous presents I had for Christmas I needed to make some thank you cards and I thought I would give myself a little challenge to use up some scraps of old DP…to make space for some new DP of course 😉

butterfly thank you

I made 3 cards all using the same elements such as the fishtails, crimped butterfly, rounded corner and the same stamped sentiment and they just came together so quickly.  I love when that happens!

Card recipe;

DP: MME Stella and Rose

Butterfly: cut with Cricut

Pearls: from Wild Orchid Crafts

Sentiment: Personal Impressions Big Sentiments stamp set

I would like to enter the cards in the following challenges;

1) Papertake Weekly (anything goes)

2) Cute Card Thursday (anything goes)

3) Wild Orchid Crafts (anything goes)

Thanks for stopping by and I wish you all a fabulous 2013!

All in a row

I’m back with another quick post to share this simple little card;

I stamped the flower stems and the greeting then stitched on the buttons; that’s it!  Super simple but I really like it.

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) Cute Card Thursday (Spring Flowers)

2) The Pink Elephant (Flowers)

3) Simon Says Stamp (April showers bring spring flowers)

Christmas thank you cards

I had several thank you cards to make after all the lovely presents I had for Christmas, including some new craft stuff of course!

The papers are from my lovely new Sunshine collection paper pad by MME and I have distressed the edges with sandpaper.  I cut the flower layers from pages of an old book using my Cricut and scrunched and chalked them to go with the distressed feel to the card.

Here’s a close up of the flower;

I would like to enter the card in the following challenges;

1) The Pink Elephant (anything goes)

2) Papertake weekly (anything goes + something new – my new DPs!)

3) Truly Scrumptious (shabby pastels and paints)
